Beavis and Butt-head 2011 season: New details from Mike Judge at ETC NYCC


TELEVISION | As you’ve probably heard by now, in their upcoming return, Beavis and Butt-head will be commenting on various reality daytime shows that MTV is so completely bombarded with these days. In a short interview with Machinima at the current Comic-Con in New York City (ETC NYCC), Beavis and Butt-head’s dad - Mike Judge gave some more details regarding this, as well as revealing what's in store for us in some of the new episodes.

Music videos

Apparently Beavis and Butthead will not only be talking over Teen Mom, 16 and Pregnant, Jersey Shore, Teen Cribs, and UFC fights, but gladly enough also music videos. Thus, they’ll be keeping the tradition of the original series alive, which should please any fan of the old school TV episodes that MTV aired, back in the mid 90’s.

The pop culture references don’t end there, however. In one of the new episodes we’ll also get to see Beavis and Butt-head mistake a homeless guy with Hepatitis-C for a werewolf, after watching some of the Twilight movies. They hence try to make him to bite them, with hopes of becoming werewolves themselves:

Burger World
In another episode, Beavis adopts a pet rat which he brings to his job at the fast food joint “Burger World”. Apart from their usual deadbeat jobs at Burger World, Beavis and Butt-head will also get to work as tech support, which is a quite new experience for them.

Beavis and Butt-head originally aired between 1993 and 1997 on MTV. The new season is set for start on October 27th, 2011, still on MTV. Watch the Machinima interview with Mike Judge on YouTube.
